Cadbury Picnic Honeycomb
Date: Sat 19 Feb 05 | Category: Chocolate.
How dastardly can these chocolate marketeers be? Before the substance of last nights indulgence has had a chance to complete it's journey through my internal passageways, I'm already being compelled to indulge again.
It was the brightly colored 'New' label that caught my eye, yet again. This time, on a chocolate which I am not thoroughly familiar with - Cadbury's Picnic.

In any case, they have created a honeycomb variant. I thought I'd Judge this one strictly on it's own merits, as I can't fairly compare it to the original Picnic bar which I've not had much to do with at all.
On to my verdict: Crisp exterior (snaps off cleanly with a little teeth pressure) with a lightly chewable middle. A little bit crumbly (a legacy from the original picnic bar I suspect). But overall...forgettable...literally.
You see, just after I started eating this bar, I got distracted, and finished eating the bar totally unaware of what I was doing. It wasn't till a few minutes after I'd finished (and forgotten the flavours, the texture, the chocolate-ness) that I remembered that I was supposed to be paying special attention to what I'd just been eating.
So, go out and buy it if you wish. But I can't really recomend for or against.
not grey, no. but very ratlike of late - so who can say what's around the corner.
